Welcome to my Rating System page! 🙂 On this page, I have created my rating system (i.e. 1-5 Stars) as well as elaborating on what exactly the number of stars means to me. If you are looking for my Review Policy, click on the image below. Enjoy 🙂
Elaboration: Books that I rate five (5) stars are books that were just completely out-of-the-realm amazing. For these, I didn’t just like – I LOVED IT! Generally, all of Kresley Cole’s (my favorite author) novels receive five (5) stars. 🙂
Elaboration: Books that I rate four (4) stars are books that I really enjoyed reading and would definitely read again. These are books that I usually continue the series (if there is one) after reading.
Elaboration: Books that I rate three (3) stars are books that I enjoyed reading, but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to read again. These are books that my decision to continue in the series (if there is one) is 50/50.
Elaboration: Books that I rate two (2) stars are books that I didn’t think were completely horrible, but I also didn’t enjoy them even remotely.
Elaboration: Books that I rate one (1) star are books that I found horribly written, totally uninteresting, or both. These are books that I generally wasn’t able to finish due to lack of interest.
*Note: I generally don’t post book reviews where I’ve rated the book less than 3 stars, but I do rate them as such on Goodreads and Amazon. This is partly because I don’t like to bash authors and their hard work. Just because I didn’t like their book doesn’t mean other readers won’t. Also, I just wouldn’t have enough to say about the book review-wise if I didn’t even moderately enjoy the book.
